Online The online
application, the $125 application fee, and a copy of
your daughter's birth certificate must be submitted
by December 15, 2025. The full application
(including questionnaires, testing, teacher
evaluation, school records, and student interview)
must be scheduled or completed by January 30, 2026.

Once the application has
been submitted, please schedule the required student
interview in the parent portal.
Applicants
to Grades 9-11 may opt to do a virtual interview or
an in-person interview.
*We offer
optional student visits for Middle and Upper
School applicants. Once you have submitted your
daughter's application, you may schedule the
optional student visit in the parent portal. She
will have the opportunity to visit classes, have
lunch on campus and complete her interview.
All applicants will be
required to take the Independent School Entrance
Examination (ISEE). Students may test at any
authorized test location (online or in-person) as
listed on the (ISEE) website. Once your daughter's
application has been submitted, please select the
testing date in the parent portal if you prefer she
test in-person at Hockaday on Saturday, January 24,
2026.
The test registration code for the ISEE
will populate in the parent portal. You will use
this code to register online for the ISEE at https://iseeonline.erblearn.org.

Once you have submitted
your daughter's application, please locate the
Transcript Release Form in the parent portal
checklist and click on 'Edit this Request.' You will
have the opportunity to enter the email address of
the school administrator who is responsible for
grades, transcripts, or progress reports at your
daughter's current school. This will allow the
school to upload your daughter's transcripts
directly to the student application file. This
checklist item will be marked complete once the
transcripts have been received by Hockaday. The
deadline for the receipt of your child's school
records (Fall 2025, 2024-2025, 2023-2024), if
available, is January 30, 2026.
After you have submitted
the online application, please visit the checklist
in the parent portal. Enter email addresses for your
daughters' current Math teacher and English teacher
and the confidential evaluation forms will be sent
to the teachers automatically. You may also request
one (optional) Academic Recommendation from the
Principal, Head of School, or Advisor. You may
confirm receipt of these forms in the parent portal.
